The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) can be adjusted for Light load and Heavy load. The TPMS can be adjusted via the Vehicle info, Tyre information, and TPM load setting instrument panel menus. See INSTRUMENT PANEL MENU.

The vehicle's ignition must be switched on and the vehicle stationary.

When the vehicle's ignition is switched on, the instrument panel displays a message to confirm that the light load setting is selected. No message is displayed if any other load setting is selected.

If the tyre pressures are adjusted to the Light load setting, the TPMS should be adjusted to suit the vehicle's load and associated recommended tyre pressures.

The TPMS setting must correspond with the current tyre load.

The Light load setting should be used during normal use of the vehicle, e.g., up to three occupants.

The Heavy load setting should be used when the vehicle's load exceeds normal use, and up to the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), e.g., more than three occupants.

Make sure that the tyre pressures are correct for the vehicle's current load. See TYRE PRESSURES.

The instrument panel menus, Vehicle info and Tyre pressures, can be used to check the vehicle's current tyre pressures.
