MY ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV)

The My Electric Vehicle (My EV) extra feature allows manual settings for charging the high voltage battery, and displays information of the current charge level.

The menu screen displays information on the high voltage battery's charging and range.

WARNING

Do not operate the touchscreen controls, or allow the system to distract the driver, while the vehicle is moving. Doing so may potentially lead to an accident, resulting in serious injury or death.

The displayed information consists of:

  1. EV Setup icon: Vehicle Creep and Regenerative Braking settings can be set via the menu screen. See VEHICLE CREEP and REGENERATIVE BRAKING.

  2. Vehicle image: Displays the current charge level of the high voltage battery. When the vehicle is connected to a charging station, the colour of the image changes to indicate the vehicle's status. See CONNECTING A CHARGING CABLE.

Green rings beneath the vehicle: Vehicle is plugged in.

Blue: Timed charging. Charging is paused to benefit from preferred charging period. See PRECONDITIONING SETTINGS.

    Red: Charging fault.

  3. Displays the next scheduled departure time. See DEPARTURE TIMES.

  4. Displays the remaining charge time to achieve full charge.

  5. Settings icon: Allows access to the settings menu.

  6. Driving range icon: Indicates the predicted driving distance that the vehicle can travel with the current charge level of the high voltage battery. See ELECTRIC VEHICLE RANGE PREDICTION.

WARNING

Do not operate the touchscreen controls, or allow the system to distract the driver, while the vehicle is moving. Doing so may potentially lead to an accident, resulting in serious injury or death.

Swipe left on the menu screen to display information on energy flow and range.

The displayed information consists of:

  1. Energy flow: Blue flows indicate the consumption of electrical energy. Green flows show energy recharging the high voltage battery.

  2. Low power mode icon: Touch to select or deselect the low power mode feature. See LOW POWER MODE.
