ELECTRIC VEHICLE INTRODUCTION
The operation and driving of an electric vehicle is similar to driving a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, except for the following differences:
The electric vehicle is propelled using two electric motors.
The electric motors require energy supplied via the vehicle's high voltage battery.
The high voltage battery requires recharging using an external source. See VEHICLE CHARGING OVERVIEW.
Regenerative braking is used to recover energy and charge the high voltage battery. See REGENERATIVE BRAKING.
