ELECTRIC WINDOWS

WARNING

Make sure that the smart key is removed when leaving passengers in the vehicle. Removal of the smart key prevents unsupervised operation of the windows and sunroof, which may result in injury.

WARNING

If children are carried in the rear seats, the isolator switch should be used to prevent operation of the windows. If the windows are operated by young children, there is a risk of serious injury or death.

  1. Window switches:

    NOTES

Each switch has a two-stage operation. Lightly press or pull and hold to manually operate to the required position. Alternatively, press or pull fully and release for one-touch operation. One-touch operation can be stopped, at any time, by operating the switch again.

Press the front of the switch to partially or fully open.

Pull the front of the switch to partially or fully close.

    NOTES

The windows operate for 5 minutes after the engine is switched off, as long as none of the doors are opened.

    CAUTION

Any ice must be removed from the windows before operating.

  2. Rear window isolator and child safety locks. SeeCHILD SAFETY LOCKS.

  3. Sunblind button:

Press the rear of the button to open.

Press the front of the button to close.

NOTES

If a resonance or a booming sound occurs when a rear window is open, lowering an adjacent front window by approximately 1 inch (25 mm) eliminates the condition.

Automatic roof blind:

The automatic operation of the roof blind can be adjusted via the climate settings screen on the touchscreen display.

When the feature is selected and the doors are locked, the roof blind closes automatically. When the engine is running, the roof blind returns to the previous open position.
