KOPPELN UND VERBINDEN EINES BLUETOOTH®-TELEFONS ODER GERÄTS

A paired phone or device can be connected for different uses, phone or music. Pairing is normally required only once.

When the ignition is switched on, the vehicle automatically tries to re-connect to a previously paired Bluetooth® wireless technology phone or device, if it is within range of the vehicle.

When the automatic connection is not made, or to connect a new phone or device, use one of the following pairing methods:

Pairing using the phone or device (preferred method)::
  1. Switch the ignition on and make sure that the touch screen is active.

  2. Select Settings icon to access the menu, then select Bluetooth.

  3. From the list, select Make System Discoverable.

  4. Switch on the phone or device’s Bluetooth device connection. Using the phone or device, search for and select the vehicle's Bluetooth connection. See the phone or device’s operating instructions for more information.

  5. A passkey number is displayed on the phone or device. If this number matches the number on the touch screen, touch Yes, or press Pairon the phone or device.

Pairing using the touch screen:
  1. Switch on the phone or device’s Bluetooth device connection. Make sure that the phone or device is in Bluetooth device discoverable mode, sometimes referred to as find me mode. See the phone or device’s operating instructions for more information.

  2. Switch the ignition on and make sure that the touch screen is active.

  3. Select the Settings icon to access the menu, then select Bluetooth.

  4. Select Search for Bluetooth Devices.

  5. The system searches for a phone or device and, if found, the phone or device displays on the touch screen.

  6. Select the required device.

    When the phone or device is not found, NO DEVICES FOUND displays.

    NOTES

    The phone or device list can store up to four entries.

  7. A passkey number displayed on the phone or device. If this number matches the number on the touch screen, touch Yes.

  8. When the phone or device is paired, it is included in the connected device's list and on the PHONE screen. Also it appears in the Bluetooth, List of paired devices section.
