KINDERSITZPOSITION

WARNING

Crash statistics show that children are safest when properly secured in a child restraint system. The child restraint system should be appropriate for the age and weight of the child, and secured in a rear seating position. Failure to use an appropriate child restraint system greatly increases the risk of death or serious injury in the event of an accident.

WARNING

Seat belts, or suitable child restraints, should be used by all vehicle occupants, for every journey, no matter how short. Failure to do so greatly increases the risk of death or serious injury in the event of an accident.

NOTES

The information contained within the following tables is correct at the time of going to press. However, availability of child restraints may change. Please consult a retailer/authorised repairer for the latest recommendation.

NOTES

The information contained in the following tables may not be applicable to all countries. If there is any doubt regarding the type and fitment of child seats, seek advice from a retailer/ authorised repairer.

NOTES

Ages given are approximate. In case of doubt, the child’s weight, not age, should be used when considering an appropriate child seat.

NOTES

The legislation which governs how and where children should be carried when travelling in a vehicle is subject to change. The driver is responsible for making sure that all regulations in force are complied with.
