If the exterior lights have just been switched off, give the bulbs time to cool. Handling them when hot may cause personal injury or death.

Make sure to avoid touching any electrical connectors or circuit boards while changing a bulb. A possible residual electrical current could result in personal injury or death.

Always replace bulbs with the correct type and specification. Incorrect bulbs may cause the vehicle's lighting to malfunction. If in any doubt, contact a retailer/authorized repairer for advice.

Before attempting a bulb change, make sure that the ignition and the affected light are switched off. If the circuit remains live, a short circuit can occur, which may damage the vehicle's electrical system.
