Rear light removal:
  1. Continually rotate the rear light retaining bolt, counter-clockwise, until fully released and then remove.

  2. Lightly press down and hold the rear light retaining lug. Carefully move the rear light a small distance away from the vehicle. Doing so now allows access to the rear light electrical connection.

    CAUTION

Do not completely remove the rear light from the vehicle until the vehicle wiring loom has been released and disconnected. Doing so may damage the vehicle wiring loom and the rear light.

  3. Release the vehicle wiring loom from the rear light retaining lug.

  4. Press and hold the retaining lug at the base of the electrical connector. Pull to release it from the rear light.

  5. Completely remove the rear light from the vehicle.

    CAUTION

Make sure that the rear light is placed on a soft surface to avoid damage or scratch the rear light lens.

Reverse the removal procedure to refit.
